 n	\n	\n	Join us for an exciting programme\, as we combine with Halifax Min
 ster's choir to perform Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.  This is one of the 
 most popular modern choral works - which featured in to a memorable advert
  for Old Spice aftershave. It is based on 24 poems from a medieval collect
 ion of secular songs "to be sung together with instruments and magical ima
 ges". Our performance will be accompanied by two pianos and a large percus
 sion section.\n	\n	We will also be performing a brand new arrangement of G
 uy Turners' Folk Song Sequence\, in the presence of the composer. The sequ
 ence comprises four songs - one from each of the nations of the British Is
 les.\n	\n	The programme also features works by Vaughan Williams and Finzi.
 \n	\n	This is likely to be a popular concert and early booking is advised.
